Discovering the Liberated Breath
This article about air hunger and liberating the natural breath appeared in the book Paths to the Alexander Technique (Hite Publishing, UK). I hope it’s helpful to anyone with similar experiences. In any case, I think the Alexander Technique’s potency is grossly underrated and unrecognized, so I’m happy to do what I can to spread awareness about this body of work.
May 13 Focusing Workshop
I will be offering an introductory, daylong training in Focusing on Sunday, May 13 from 10:30am–4pm in Hillsborough, NC. Participants will learn the fundamentals of Eugene Gendlin's body of work—known as Focusing—and will be able to continue participating in a Focusing partnership with the skills they have learned. Up to 12 fellows are accepted each season, and this year generous scholarships are available for all participants. For more information, visit the Eco-Institute site.
